May 15, 2026"O M G After having had arepa's in Venezuela I must say Arepera El Jagüey superseded my memory of a really yummy staple food. These were 'muy deliciosa y sabrosa!!!' El Jagüey's were the yummiest arepa's I have ever had; just the right consistency, crispy yet soft, a great bite and flavoursome mouthful each bite, the arepas full and largish. The beef and 3 cheese fillings were amazing and combined sublime. Arepas were only 3-4 euro's each. My mouth waters thinking back of our meal here and it will be easy to indulge in these as frequently as we will manage during our stay on the island. Staff were kind and accommodating (and have some quirky space management solutions behind the bar), the mostly local guests were friendly to chat with and parking was easy. What an unexpected treat (we just landed on Tenerife when we visited)!"
